JavaScript css

Comprehensive guide to .htaccess- error documents: "server returned error codes"

JavaScript Kit- Comprehensive JavaScript, DHTML, CSS tutorials and over 400+ free JavaScripts!

Useful CSS shorthand properties: "One of the main advantages of using Cascading Style Sheets is the large reduction in web page download time. To style text, you used to have to use the tag over and over again. You probably also laid out your site with tables, nested tables and spacer gifs. Now all that presentational information can be placed in one CSS document, with each command listed just once.
But why stop there? By using CSS shorthand properties you can reduce the size of your CSS document even more."

Washington County PA Genealogy and Family History_"Little Washington"

Washington County PA Genealogy and Family History_"Little Washington"

Research in "Little Washington," Washington County, Pennsylvania is enhanced by having genealogy (often misspelled geneology) and family history information available on the internet. This site gives genealogical information including data from newspapers (birth, death, marriage notices, obituaries, missing persons, adoption and guardianship, probate and deed notices, and surname -only items.) Links are provided for biographies, family trees and histories.

Whether you are a novice or experienced in researching your family history, you may find something here about your ancestors. Use the site- search to find surnames or individuals.

I've been a researcher-genealogist since 1983 and value families' history and ancestry, their stories and lore. If you love learning about your ancestors, you've found the right place! My hope is that you will find these files useful. Maybe you will find a lost branch or new "cousins"!

I welcome submissions from researchers whose families lived in Washington County and stayed - or from researchers whose families moved - part or in whole - away from Washington County. Only by seeing which families moved where can a more complete migration pattern be documented.

AOL'ers will recognize me under my screen name "cageycat." I have worked in AOL genealogy chat rooms, most recently under the screen name GCH Lace, which is the email I will use for this website.

RootsWeb: Volunteer Spotlight: "RootsWeb.com values each individual and organization that volunteers their time and talents to making our site one of the best on the Internet. We hope you enjoy meeting some of these outstanding volunteers whose dedication have made a difference to RootsWeb.com and other researchers."

RootsWeb: Volunteer Spotlight: "The HelpDesk was created when the RootsWeb.com founders were overwhelmed with e-mail, and needed assistance with answering them. RootsWeb.com users volunteered to do this, and have manned the HelpDesk ever since. The volunteer staff currently includes six members, each of whom have a different specialty.

They include Patricia Caster, Leigh "Elsi" Compton, Pat Asher, Chris Hankins, Carol Sterling, Clare Midgley, and Josh Taylor. "

As RootsWeb.com users know, a new culture and process for genealogical research was shaped with the development of the Internet. Rather than spending hours in a genealogy library, researchers are now able to search a variety of records from the comfort of their own homes. However, it is only through the efforts of many volunteers that much of this information is available for free.
